What Does Yuri Gagarin Mean to You?
We invite you to celebrate the legacy of Yuri Gagarin by creating a short video (up to 2 minutes) sharing what he and his historic spaceflight mean to you. Be creative!
Rules
- Please register HERE before submitting your video.
- Videos may be submitted individually or by groups of up to 4 participants.
- The video must be in English or in your native language with English subtitles.
- Choose your own format — whether it's a short film, animation, documentary, or a simple message, the style is entirely up to you.
- Please record your video horizontally.

Prizes
The top 5 videos will be featured on our official website.
Grand Prize: An exclusive set of postcards featuring a photo taken by our SamSat-Ionosphere satellite, along with other exclusive images selected by us, signed by the mission engineers.
If the winner(s) attend the Summer School, the prize will be awarded in person by the Head of our Department.
Otherwise, it will be sent by mail, and we will contact the recipient to request post code information and arrange delivery.
The winner(s) will also receive a special 'Vostochny Cosmodrome Access Card' — a personalized commemorative card, stamped by the SamSat-ORION mission and featuring their name(s), celebrating the upcoming launch of our next nanosatellite this year.
