🌍 Webinar During Gagarin’s Week
Although space enthusiasts around the world celebrate this achievement, the truth is that every person on Earth benefits from it. From sharing your location using GPS to knowing how many degrees it will be tomorrow, space technologies help us better understand our own planet and others every day.
To celebrate space knowledge and continue sharing it with the community, during Space Week (April 6 to April 12), the Interuniversity Department of Space Research will host a FREE webinar on:
Introduction to Nanosatellite Attitude Dynamics
The webinar will take place over 3 days, with lectures of 1 hour and 30 minutes each, and will be open to everyone interested in space engineering. The exact date and time will be announced on March 30.
The lectures will be delivered fully in English by PhD student and junior researcher Ohana Berger. To register, please fill out the form available here.
Topics covered include:
- Introduction to nanosatellites and CubeSat technology
- Fundamental types of satellite motion
- Basics of attitude dynamics
- External torques acting during orbital motion
- Active and passive attitude control methods
- Attitude control techniques applied to nanosatellites
A certificate of participation with the stamp of our Department will be issued to all attendees.
