Venue
The School will be started in Samara which is one of the most significant scientific, industrial and cultural cities of Russia. Samara is situated on the bank of the Volga river in the region of the National Zhiguly mountains area. There are a lot of theatres, museums and very nice places for rest. It is possible the Workshop will be held on board of the river ship, which will travel from Samara to Volgograd (Stalingrad) and back. Samara (Kuibyshev, 1935-1991), one of the largest industrial cities of Russia, is situated in the Central European Part of the country, on the bank of the river Volga. Samara lies at the junction of major highways, airlines, rail and water ways.
The Samara Region is some 20.695 square miles. The population of the Region is about 3.2 million, of which over 80% live in urban areas. There are ten cities and over twenty towns in region. The largest cities are: Samara (population 1.219.000), Togliatti (population 743.000), Syzran (population 174.000).

Transportation for foreign participants
We recommend flying by Lufthansa (LH-3210/3211, 3212/3213) which provides non stop flights from FRA - Frankfurt/Main International (Germany) to KUF - Samara (Russian Federation) or Czech Airlines (OK-910/911) provides non stop flights from PRG - Prague (Czech Republic) to KUF - Samara (Russian Federation). The Lufthansa or CSA Timetable on September you can find at the Lufthansa website and CSA website.
Participants will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel.
